As a young adult, I lived on the rolling hills of Sheffield which where I studied, (BA) Science and education,( in the footsteps of my grandfather.) This is where the journey, to where I am now, really started gaining momentum.
I have always been someone who loves trying new things. My guitar teacher once said, 'You can't be a Jack of all trade's.' Well, it turns out, Perhaps you can.
My career pathway began maturing with sales management, outdoor education, tourism, English teaching and now P.E.
Right now, it's just me on this list, but I sincerely hope will be adding more in the not too distant future.
So, here we go. First things first, I'm not a millionaire. I'm an almost 30 year old P.E teacher from the windy shores of Great Grimsby in the U.K. I grew up drinking hot chocolate at Blundell Park on Saturday's and boxing at G.abc during the week. I started working at 14 years old in a fish and chips restaurant and of course, I trudged through the Grimsby right of passage that is, Young's Seafood.
Growing up in a working class family, from a working class community, it took a while to realise that I was indeed, working class, and it took even longer to realise what that really meant. Upon going to university and meeting friends from all kinds of backgrounds, I realized that the community that I called home, Cleethorpes had hardships and troubles that many of my friends couldn't relate too and vice-versa. From this conditioning, I now find myself in a position where I am able to and have a longing to give back and create something that stands for my own values of sharing and openness.
